Scholars Portal Dataverse is a publicly accessible data repository provided for Canadian universtities and affiliated researchers . Dataverse can be used to deposit, share, and archive research data.


Researchers can collaborate and publish research data on the Scholars Portal Dataverse  by setting up an account.  Dataverse is open to all disciplines, and supports all data types and formats. It uses best practices in data management and archiving to keep your research data secure.

The Scholars Portal Dataverse hosts institutional and research group Dataverses, each one being a digital archive for storing and sharing research data.

Open-Source Development

Dataverse is an open-source software. Harvard University's Institute for Quantitative Social Science (IQSS) , along with many collaborators worldwide provide software development contributions. Scholars Portal is a collaborator and contributor to the Dataverse project (see Dataverse community members).
