ISO Resource Sharing

The term “Resource Sharing” is used in Alma to mean any time your library requests materials from another library and also when your library shares your resources with another library. Technically speaking, this includes AFN requests, Alma to Alma requests, ISO resource sharing requests, and so on.

Email Partner Resource Sharing

There are a number of partners that do not have ISO (or Alma) compatible Resource Sharing available. We have come up with a method of sharing information with those partners using emails to transact. This is built into Alma, but did require some configuration. Our first draft includes using patrons to lend to, and partners to borrow from, but we are testing using partners to lend to, which will require some more letter updates.
