Overview and Project Background

Welcome to the Internationalization Project page! 

In this ongoing project, Scholars Portal is collaborating with the Université de Montréal in Québec to internationalize the open-source Dataverse code as well as translate the user interface text into French. Ultimately, the majority of this code will become part of the Dataverse core code to be used by Dataverse instances internationally!

UPDATE

Dataverse is now fully internationalized, with language translators contributing code/label translations in a seperate Global Dataverse Community GitHub Project - Dataverse Language Packs. 

Scholars Portal Dataverse provides the latest Dataverse code with English and French language packs (ongoing translations provided by the Université de Montréal).
