Please find below details on the upcoming planned power shutdown at the University of Toronto that will take place at the end of this month from Sunday, June 28 at 10 p.m. EDT until Tuesday, June 30 at 11 a.m. EDT.

During this period, all Scholars Portal services, including all Scholaris instances, the Scholaris website, and SPOTDocs, will be unavailable. More information is provided below in English and French, and we will send additional updates and reminders over the course of the month. 

Note for Scholaris repository administrators: If you would like to add/edit a system alert banner on your development and/or production instances to alert your community of the upcoming downtime, this can be done by logging in as an admin and selecting 'System-wide alert' | 'Messages d'avertissement' from the left sidebar menu. From there, you can add the notification text and toggle a countdown timer to set a time limit for the banner message to appear.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disruption in your workflows that may result from this shutdown, and we thank you for your patience.

Scholars Portal Services Unavailable June 28-30

Due to an upcoming planned power shutdown at the University of Toronto, ALL Scholars Portal, Scholaris and Borealis services and websites will be temporarily unavailable from Sunday, June 28 at 10 p.m. EDT until Tuesday, June 30 at 11 a.m. EDT.

The OCUL and Scholars Portal websites, SPOTDocs wiki, Nextcloud file storage system, user guides, and Scholars Portal Forms website will also be unavailable during this time.

Additionally, messages sent to scholarsportal.info, borealisdata.ca, and scholaris.ca email addresses during the outage will experience delays in delivery.

Panne de service de Scholars Portal le 28-30 juin

En raison d'une coupure d'électricité prévue à l'Université de Toronto, TOUS les services et sites web de Scholars Portal, Scholaris et Borealis seront temporairement indisponibles du dimanche 28 juin à 22h au mardi 30 juin à 11h (heure de d’Est).

Le site web de l’OCUL et de Scholars Portal, le wiki SPOTDocs, le système d’hébergement de fichiers Nextcloud, les guides d’utilisateur, et le site web dédié aux formulaires seront également indisponibles pendant cette période.

De plus, les courriels envoyés aux adresses scholarsportal.info, borealisdata.ca et scholaris.ca pendant la panne seront livrés avec un retard.
