05 - Only send physical requests when physical inventory exists

By default, Alma will ignore formats when sending requests to resource sharing partners. With the massive number of electronic titles available, this can lead to a large number of "false" requests having to be handled by lending libraries. Fortunately, there is a parameter that will limit these false positive requests. This does not affect electronic requests for electronic titles.

1. Login to IZ Alma
2. Click Configuration (Gear in the lower left)
3. Fulfillment -> General -> Other settings
4. Find the rs_ignore_electronic_for_physical_request parameter key and click ... -> Customize
5. Enter the value as true
6. Click Save in the top right corner
