Enable Quick Print

Each desk staff member may want to enable QUICK PRINT in Alma to make it easier for them to print transit slips and on hold shelf slips. This uses the regular computer ‘print’ dialogue box, allowing users to select a printer and print just like they normally would from their web browser.

  1. Have the user login to Alma
  2. Click the little down arrow to the left of the little person icon in the upper right corner )same place they’d go to change the desk they’re at)
  3. Click ENABLE QUICK PRINTING
  4. This enables Alma to pop up a regular ‘print dialogue’ box from within the web browser anytime you choose to print something. This will allow staff to select a locally-installed printer to print Alma things (like transit slips and on hold shelf letters)
