5 - Adding Autofill for Blank Resource Sharing Request Form

Last modified by Alex Fletcher on 2024-07-24, 10:50

When the resource sharing request form is displayed on an item in PrimoVE which is not available to your patrons, the form is auto populated with the metadata for that item. When a patron clicks on the blank resource sharing request form, the form is presented, you guessed it, blank. You can add DOI and/or PMID autofill options to help patrons autocomplete the form if they happen to have either a DOI or a PMID for an article.

REMEMBER: if you enable this, the autofill will appear within PrimoVE on unavailable resources, and on the blank resource sharing request form.

Note: you need a free CROSSREF account to enable DOI lookups and you need a customer-specific API key from PUBMED to enable PMID lookup.
